Take a leisurely stroll through the thirty stalls showcasing spices, textiles, and crafts. Learn about Indian calligraphy, practice yoga and meditation, discover the art of Kathakali makeup that adorns the faces of Kerala theater actors in an impressive display, or get some intricate henna patterns done on your hands. Over at the gastronomic village, kiosks and food trucks will entice you with the aromatic flavors of tandoori chicken, tikka masala, korma and a melange of curries.

But the highlight of the day will be the spectacular performances by over 200 artists and dancers on the large open-air stage, set against the backdrop of the picturesque Green Mirror.

From classical to contemporary dance, troupes from various regions of India such as Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Rajasthan will mesmerize you with their captivating dances. The grand finale will be the “Bassant” troupe from Rajasthan, presenting the majestic Dance of the Maharajah, featuring around twenty dancers in horse-riding costumes, in an explosion of sounds and colors that will leave you spellbound.

And of course, no Holi celebration is complete without the joyous release of colors. Join in the revelry as you come dressed in white and partake in the centuries-old tradition of throwing colorful powders, known as gulal, in shades of blue, yellow, pink, red, and purple, filling the air of Bois de Boulogne with a mesmerizing display of hues. It’s a moment of pure joy and celebration as you bid farewell to winter and welcome the arrival of spring with open arms.
