Paris welcomes its newest luxury hotel: Hotel Dame des Arts

Paris welcomes a new addition to its luxury hotel scene – Hotel Dame des Arts, located in the trendy Saint-Germain neighborhood of the sixth arrondissement.

Designer of the Year award winner at the 2023 Maison & Objet Awards, Raphael Navot, was behind the hotel’s sleek interior, which is a modern take on the design of the 1950s. The sultry black oak floor in the lobby, plush black and beige furniture, and sculpted mood lighting exude a film noir sheen, which is sure to impress visitors.

The hotel’s 109 guest rooms boast chic, minimalist decor and Diptyque bath products, catering to design buffs who appreciate the finer things in life. The Eiffel Tower suite, the grandest of the hotel’s four suites, is a 254-square-foot penthouse that features a king-size bedroom, a lavish bathroom, and a private balcony, offering a bird’s eye view of the city’s famous landmarks.

The hotel’s dining options are anything but ordinary. Matthieu Alfandari, the former operational director of Experimental Group, designed both the Rooftop Bar and the indoor restaurant with an adjoining outdoor garden courtyard.

The food and beverage menus, created by Chef Othoniel Alvarez Castaneda, combine classic French cuisine with a modern Mexican flair, showcasing seasonal dishes. Othoniel’s culinary vision emphasizes sustainability and communal sharing, with each menu item centered around a hero ingredient that champions high-quality local produce and is presented in a whimsical manner.

The property’s crown jewel is the rooftop bar with its breathtaking 360-degree views of the City of Light. From the bar, you can see the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur, the golden dome of Les Invalides, and Notre Dame Cathedral. The hotel’s ground-level restaurant, which has both indoor and outdoor seating, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with steak frites being a popular choice.

Whether you’re a guest, local, or visitor, the hotel offers the perfect setting to see Paris in style. 4, rue Danton 75006 Paris. www.damedesarts.com/en
